Prontosan Wound Solution and Gel

Prontosan® Solution and Prontosan® Gel are wound care products formulated to provide deep cleansing, effective decontamination, and hydration of the tissue surface , including hard-to-reach areas. Their combination of polyhexanide and undecylenamidopropyl betaine acts against microorganisms and biofilm without causing pain or irritation.

These products are suitable for:

• Acute and chronic wounds: lacerations, cuts, 1st and 2nd degree burns, leg ulcers, diabetic and post-operative ulcers.
• Fistulas, abscesses, and cellulitis.
• Catheter ports, ostomies, and peristomal areas.
• Intraoperative irrigation and instillation therapy.
• Moistening dressings and bandages to facilitate their removal without trauma.

Prontosan® is well tolerated, non-cytotoxic, non-irritating and pyrogenic, and is indicated for both professional clinical and home use under medical supervision.
